Songs at Dawn

Songs at Dawn is a poetic collection inclusive of romantic endeavors, dreams manifesting, reflective thoughts and observations, overcoming adversity, prayers realized, and embracing one’s power. Songs at Dawn utilizes rhyme scheme and free verse poetry to authentically convey the hills and valleys of life as a Black woman in various stages of life.
The majority of the pieces in Songs at Dawn ironically began as songs but ended as poems in this reflective compilation of poetic art.
