Hallelujah Night
Hallelujah Night
Karma is a good girl; she plays by the rules, is a member of the Honor Society at school, advocates for justice, attends church, teaches Sunday School, and is her mom’s “perfect” daughter. On Halloween night, all of Karma’s friends are going to the grandiose costume party at school, but her mom gives strict instructions—Karma and her sister are to attend her church’s Hallelujah Night, which will be a holy, “fun” event for the youth. When Karma breaks the rules for the first time and sneaks to the Halloween party at school, she quickly finds that the grass isn’t greener on the rebellious side, especially not on Halloween.
